Solution
To renovate the holiday home—improving comfort and efficiency while taking advantage of state incentives—the client chose to replace the traditional gas system for DHW production and radiator heating with a new heat pump system. The choice of a generator with Aquadue technology made it possible to produce DHW without any interruption to climate comfort throughout the year, using a “lean” system with lower consumption compared to a configuration with a standalone heat pump water heater. The fan coil terminals also ensure very rapid start-up—an important requirement for a holiday home, occupied only a few weeks per year. From an energy efficiency perspective, the renovation enabled the property to move from its original Class G to Class A1.
