In a region where the spread of heat pumps for DHW production is limited by high summer temperatures, and where the type of building ruled out the installation of solar thermal panels (common in such climates), the client was looking for an alternative to traditional methane gas boilers.

Solution
In an area where the spread of heat pumps for domestic hot water production is limited by high summer temperatures, and where the building type ruled out the installation of solar thermal panels (commonly used in such climates), the client was looking for an alternative to traditional natural gas boilers. Heat pumps with Aquadue technology proved to be the ideal solution, ensuring the production of domestic hot water at up to 75 °C, even in the presence of high summer temperatures, while also achieving greater efficiency thanks to heat recovery during the long warm months. The outdoor floor-standing installation with the Sherpa Flex Box AS kit met both the client’s requirements and the structural characteristics of the building, which excluded recessed or semi-recessed installations.
